Bodybuilders, yes. For everyone, absolutely not.
As others describe this is an old school gym, with lots of weights, both machine and free weights. Good for body builders .
However for those looking primarily for CV, this isn't the place. CV machines are old, and some don't work.
Gym is VERY cramped, dark and hot.
Certainly not accessible to anyone with a physical or sensory disability.
Gym is old and so is the equipment. Many machines have been repaired with a bit of tape, which isn’t reassuring. Some just don’t work. Out of 4 benches (definitely not enough) only 2 had their angle adjustment working. So annoying!
It’s hot, dark and cramped. I was lucky I could attend around 10 am when it was fairly empty... tried it once at 5 PM and never made this mistake again.
Showers/changing rooms are smelly and haven’t been dusted in ages. Most lockers are dented, hinges worn down and you struggle to open them with a key.
Lots of equipment tossed around in corners and covered with dust. Most likely broken.
On the positive note, love the staff, their protein bar and the chill approach to customer. My membership expired and I forgot. Yet they let me in with a smile on their face.
